2013-2014 Wisconsin HealthCorps Alumni

Another year is in the books and our members are off to do great things in the world! Take a look at what lies in store for this group. 


Jenny Christl – After being hired by her host site as a Patient Financial Advocate Jenny applied to medical school and was accepted into the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She enrolled in their WARM (Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine) program and plans to practice in a rural area of the state.


Nichole Kunze – Nichole is living in Ashland and has become a certified EMT.


Adam Peters – Adam enrolled in a Masters in Public Health program at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).


Jennifer Wigh – After her service term, Jenn accepted a position with the United Way of Greater Milwaukee as their Manager of Volunteer Engagement.


Yi Zhang – After serving two years in the Wisconsin HealthCorps, Yi was accepted into the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine and Public Health.


Katherine Hanson – Kathy accepted a position in the non-profit sector helping veterans out in Washington state.


Marty Medina – After finishing his term in the Wisconsin HealthCorps, Marty was accepted into UW-Madison’s PA-MPH dual degree program.


Abbey Lading – Abbey enrolled in a Masters in Social Work program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.


Mai Houa Vue – Mai Houa accepted a position in the health care sector as a Member Connections Representative with Managed Health Services in Milwaukee.


Jamie Kenealy – After serving two terms of service in the Wisconsin HealthCorps program, Jamie was accepted into the University of Minnesota’s Masters in Public Health program.


Linda Wang – Linda was accepted into medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin located in Milwaukee.


Pa Chang – Pa accepted a position as a Public Health Specialist with the Central Racine County Health Department in Franksville, WI.
